Yep, she got me. I was tagged by Twilightstars for the "post eight things about yourself" journal entry. (see her's: [link] )

I'm not sure I can think of anything new that I haven't already crammed into the Shout It Out meme, or my previous Deviation Search Quiz journal...but here goes:

#1 I am a Grammar Nazi. And, I think that anytime someone types that statement, the following sentence will contain at least one error, making said Grammar Nazi look like a total idiot. Let's see how many errors mine contains! Which leads to...

#2 I am an idiot. I think I've tried harder to control that unfavorable aspect of my personality than my penchant for correctly constructed sentences. But alas, I still do the dumbest things sometimes!

#3 Injustice of any kind angers me more than anything else. And I've noticed that fate has a cruel sense of irony when it comes to fairness.

#4 I root for the underdog. Strangely though, for the longest time I didn't realize I had a pattern of doing that.

#5 I love storms. Particularly, I love the weather building just before a thunderstorm--but a major blizzard can inject some excitement into a long, boring winter, so I like that, too.

#6 Although I know it's not entirely rational, I am scared of spiders. Some, not so much; others, very much. Those bastards are so fast! And they never run AWAY, they always run RIGHT AT YOU! Oh jesus, now I feel all creepy-crawlie.


#7 One of my biggest wishes is that I can afford to travel someday. Really, really travel: trips to different countries, taking the time to go wherever I want...yeah, it's a wish, which implies it's not likely to happen; as opposed to daring to hope for it, which implies that there's a chance. Nevertheless...

#8 I've started studying Japanese. Maybe by the time I'm somewhat fluent, I'll be able to travel there! Okay, okay, I'll get serious: maybe by the time I'm completely fluent, and literate in all formats, AND there is some major catastrophic circumstance in the the airline industry that forces them to offer $99 round-trip flights to Japan--I'll be ready, and I'll be able to go.
