The Mage

I was trying to get a better grasp on Photoshop texture capabilities--after going through several tutorials and some practice, this is the result. So yes, it's texture heavy, that was the point! But I thought it had a certain aura about it that made it worthy of submission. And really, after all my experimenting, the end-design is mainly from brushes and other tools, I ended up not using much of the built-in textures or other files (that's why it's cat mixed media). Eh? I guess even when focusing on a particular topic, I still insist on doing things however 'feels' right.
