Plants Aglow

In between big projects, these smaller creations keep me in practice and they're a lot of fun! After focusing on The Pagan Branch recently, I guess this subject is still on my mind. But I like the stubborn persistance that it implies. And I guess I've been thinking about it with the season: we really are decorating feverishly in tribute to nature, hoping and praying that everything will be lush and beautiful after the long, cold winter. Didn't realize that's why each year in the dead of winter we drag in an evergreen and throw a bunch of eye-catching babbles on it?

But, I digress...and I'm sure I sound like an old, crotchety know-it-all professor. I can't help it. I love customs' origins.
