I like the symbolic thing about it, and it's also a nice use of colour there...You know, that kind of flickering yellow-white light on her face, mixed with the red...I just don't know how to say it, it just looks good here, it blends in very well with the rest... Okay, and I'm talking nonsense >< I suppose today isn't the right time for me to write anything in English...ends up like this._.
Nice art, however.

Interesting in a symbolic way, to think of the castle being cared for by the person instead of the other way round. I wonder how many people feel this rather than being surrounded by the castle? Thought provoking.

Nice image too. My eyes get lost a bit in working out the pattern of the value levels, versus the actual image -- I had better stop trying to figure things out and just enjoy this! :)

Glad to hear your thoughts! And the grander image that I alluded to it needing was that I had toyed with expanding it so that stones/vegetation/similar would start expanding upward along the skin of the arms—throughout the body, really. So your line of thought is pretty online with what I was thinking; and to expand on that would be that the fortress or walls that I, *ahem* that is, people build around themselves can sometimes take over.

But, I didn't have enough patience to devote to it and just decided to end it somewhat simply. :shrug: :)
